Alaska Native-Owned & 8(a) Certified

The combination of Alaska Native[1] ownership and 8(a) certification by the Small Business Administration[2] affords Managed Business Solutions (MBS) special consideration in federal government contract procurement as defined by Federal law and the Federal Acquisition Regulations.

As a SBA certified 8(a) Alaska Native-owned company MBS can:

	Receive Federal Contract set-asides
	Receive Sole Source Awards with no competition, no advertisement and no protest
	Receive Sole Source Contracts regardless of the dollar amount
	Provide 5% incentive to Contractors who utilize federally recognized Indian-owned subcontractors or suppliers for Department of Defense Contracts via the Department of Defense Indian Incentive Program.
